Piwik is a Open Source (GPL licensed) real time web analytics software program. It provides you with detailed reports on your website visitors: the search engines and keywords they used, the language they speak, your popular pages and so much more. So Piwik is a real alternative to Google Analytics, especially if you don’t want to host your data on a foreign server.
As we use Piwik in our project for a long time, we decided to implement a mobile app for Piwik during the Mayflower Barcamp (an internal 5-day company event where all the 50+ developers produce Open Source code). Afterwards, our company provided us working time to finish the app. We have developed the app in cooperation with the Piwik team. The code is available in Piwik SVN under GPLv3.
The App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android devices. We used Titanium Mobile SDK to develop the app. It allows us to create native apps using JavaScript.
